Description:	The year 2024 presented significant challenges that actively engaged both management and research teams at Embrapa Suínos e Aves. A key achievement was the physical restructuring of laboratories and research facilities, made possible through PAC funding. These strategic upgrades will bolster critical national studies, particularly in vaccine development and disease control—including pressing challenges like avian influenza. Another milestone was the reorganization of our research framework, transitioning from five thematic nuclei to two integrated platforms. This streamlined structure fosters multidisciplinary collaboration while better addressing the needs of core production chains. Throughout the year, we delivered impactful results while initiating a major sustainability initiative for swine farming through cross-sector partnerships. These accomplishments reflect the dedication and collaborative spirit of the entire Embrapa Suínos e Aves team.
