Data interoperability
OAI-PMH Since its publication, Alice has been based on the DSpace platform. DSpace implements interoperability features, following established open standards for exchanging data and metadata. One of them is the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting - OAI-PMH, developed by the Open Archives Initiative, which allows the harvesting of metadata and repository data, and is widely used by institutions to collect and make available digital objects. In Infoteca-e the standard page with information about available standards is at https://www.infoteca.cnptia.embrapa.br/oai An example to get the metadata in in the Dublin Core standard is https://www.infoteca.cnptia.embrapa.br/oai/request?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=oai_dc For the Metadata Object Description Schema - MODS protocol, just replace using the mods prefix: https://www.infoteca.cnptia.embrapa.br/oai/request?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=mods More information can be found in the documentation for the DSpace platform, as well as the links provided for the cited standards. Google Scholar Alice also offers features to export metadata via the protocol established by Google. In this case, the metadata described in the established standard are made available on the source page of a specific item.
