Conteúdo:	ABSTRACT: The Cafuringa's environmental protection area is considered one of the last natural area of the Brazilian Federal District. The lack of hydrological data and information represent a risk for the preservation of this area. So, the main objective of this work is to present a preliminary survey about the quantity and the quality of the water resources available in this region to support its appropriate management.
