Conteúdo:	Em 2025, a Unidade iniciou um novo ciclo estratégico, orientado pela sustentabilidade, inovação e geração de resultados práticos para as cadeias produtivas. Destacam-se, no período, a celebração dos 50 anos, com ações que valorizaram sua trajetória técnico-científica; a reorganização da pesquisa em duas plataformas — Produção e Meio Ambiente (PPMA) e Saúde e Ciências Ômicas (PSCO) —, ampliando a integração e a agilidade; e os avanços em sustentabilidade, com o desenvolvimento de protocolos e ferramentas para apoio à gestão ambiental. Na perspectiva de Saúde Única, foram fortalecidas as ações de vigilância sanitária, com destaque para pesquisas sobre influenza e a implantação da Central de Inteligência em Saúde Suína (CISS). No campo da inovação, foram registradas 47 entregas técnicas, incluindo soluções digitais, como o software BiosSui e a calculadora ABC+Calc. A presença no mercado também se manteve relevante, com destaque para a genética Embrapa. Assim, a Embrapa Suínos e Aves reafirmou, em 2025, seu papel de conexão entre ciência e aplicação, contribuindo para a segurança alimentar e a competitividade do Brasil na bioeconomia. In 2025, the Unit began a new strategic cycle, guided by sustainability, innovation, and the generation of practical results for production chains. Highlights of the period include the celebration of its 50th anniversary, with initiatives that recognized its scientific and technical trajectory; the reorganization of research into two platforms — Production and Environment (PPMA) and Health and Omics Sciences (PSCO) — enhancing integration and agility; and advances in sustainability through the development of protocols and tools to support environmental management. From a One Health perspective, sanitary surveillance activities were strengthened, with emphasis on influenza research and the implementation of the Swine Health Intelligence Center (CISS). In the field of innovation, 47 technical deliverables were recorded, including digital solutions such as the BiosSui software and the ABC+Calc calculator. The Unit also maintained a strong market presence, with emphasis on Embrapa genetics. Thus, in 2025, Embrapa Swine and Poultry reaffirmed its role as a bridge between science and application, contributing to food security and Brazil’s competitiveness in the bioeconomy.
