dc.descriptionO déficit de pressão de vapor (DPV) é uma variável agrometeorológica que integra dados de temperatura e umidade relativa do ar. É importante para indicar o poder que a atmosfera possui de retirar água da superfície terrestre, sendo fundamental para a compreensão dos fatores que influenciam o desenvolvimento das plantas em condições climáticas adversas. Quando ele é alto o ar fica mais seco, ocorrendo maior perda de água da superfície terrestre por transpiração das plantas e por evaporação de água da superfície.
