dc.description | Abstract: Several methodologies have been proposed to assess the impact of pesticides applied to agricultural crops. The PestLCI Consensus v.1.0 tool presented herein helps estimating pesticide ewwmissions in agricultural processes to prepare inventories for life cycle assessment (LCA) studies. This important environmental management tool was improved to enable the incorporation of the potential impacts of these compounds on agricultural production systems. In addition, the present work also aimed to parameterize relevant agricultural production scenarios for Brazil. With this, it is expected to lead to the improvement of LCA studies that address the possible impacts of pesticides on human health and the environment. | |
