Description:	To achieve this objective, efforts will have to be made in the disciplines of agriculture as well as in that of meteorology. ln the first case, one can analyse the actual agri cultural process and identify limi ting factors in the production cycle. ln the second case, one can analyse the meteorological condi r i ons of a region and calculate the potential productivity. A synthesis of these two systems should strive to define the agricultural system that realises this production potential as much as possible.
